gee it feels so great to be home. this will be quick coz time is of course the essence at the moment & I still have a bit of recovering to do.... both babes sleeping & i gotta chat to the BB girls tonight so.....
little miss charlotte was in special care from wednesday lunchtime until saturday lunchtime but it was very worth it. her little lungs repaired themselves very quickly & she bounced forward a million miles an hour! she & i recovered so well after the c-section that we both came home together on monday evening. she is feeding & sleeping beautifully, and as content as miss g was when we brought her home. life at home has gone like clockwork - ha! - we shall see how long that lasts, but for now, i'm enjoying the new demands & routine. back to work in 4 weeks so i want to make the most of my home time.
jeff & i took our little cuties on a shopping excursion yesterday in our brand new car (red viva wagon aka our little family truckster - having the wood panels installed next week) to stock up on food, clothes & extra bottles for miss C. it was so lovely to go out for the first time as a family of four... wow! can hardly believe it was only 53 weeks ago, that it was just jeff & i. its just so wonderful & our lives feel so complete.
i put this crap little powerpoint pres together for my mum so she could email it around to overseas family etc. so here it is if you want to see all charlottes first pics. only had a minute to get it done so its not in auto mode, no decoration or music - sorry about the lameness but nevertheless, my newest baby girl is there for the ooh-ing & ah-ing LOL Download charlotte_daisy_jane_first_pics.ppt
