Well week one started super successful. Well 5 kilos would have been super but I'm certainly happy with a 2.1kg loss! Yay!
Eating was pretty good this last week, lots of cold rolls, chicken & veggies for dinner. But I was not perfect. And I was certainly not perfect in the exercise department. I had lots of people over quoting me on all sorts of things this week, taking up my gym time slot in the mornings. Evenings have been consumed with work & play and not much exercise.
It has been amazing to see the loss when I pay close attention to food even without the exercise.
The weekend however has not been so great. Jeff has been away in Melbourne & whilst I have had a physically & mentally full on weekend with the kids it has also been wonderful. And I didn't pay too much attention to diet or exercise.
What happened to my 'no excuses??' Aarrghhh, pathetic. Anyway, I know I'll pay for it this week.
Back on track in the morning!
I found this picture of Jillian Michaels [above] in Pinterest and love it.
I'll be using that as my mantra this week as I focus on my running.
This coming week I'll be running, Monday, Tuesday & Thursday.
Pump on Wednesday & Sunday.
RPM on Friday & Sunday.
And fitting in a video or two as punishment for the downhill slide over the weekend.
I'm also putting myself on a bread ban until after weigh in on Wednesday.
Cold rolls, chicken, salad, veggies, tuna, salsa.... all those things will feature.
As will my breakfast for this week; All Bran, frozen raspberries, banana, oats & chia mix...
Here's to hoping I find some strength this week along with a spine to say 'NIO' to the temptations!
