Its finally finished!
I have had this piece sitting largely unfinished for maybe a year! Eeeek! Oh well, better late than never. Its a bit of a new look for me, without a patchwork, painterly background but I have quite a few underway with similarities in technique, some with text, some dolls with painted dresses... I'm experimenting with allsorts.
I'm off to arrange prints this coming week as I'll be selling them in my ETSY shop and part proceeds [for the last 2 weeks in September] will be going to Heartkids as my contribution to the "Cuppa for Heartkids" campaign which has been running through August & September.

See her beaming smile as she proudly shows off her zipper at 9months after her second open heart surgery! She's now 3 and running around like you wouldn't believe. Smiley, cheeky & naughty. Love love love her spirit!
