Squeeze & Stir? Today I'm talking soup!
Recently I was sent a couple of these coolio squishy tubes to try....
Soup in a tube? Really? Yes really!
We tried Ripe Tomato & Vegetable and Rich Tomato with Basil.
So to prepare the soup, all we needed to do was squeeze the thick soup concentrate into a mug and add 50mls of boiling water. A bit of stirring & voila! Bon Appetit! Unlike powderer soups, the tube contents are thick & rich. And they are made from fresh ripe tomatoes.
With the first soup I made, I didn't read the instructions and added way too much water. The soup was alot thinner but definitely still flavoursome. Adding 50mls of water however made the second soup very rich & just a perfect meal with a side of bread or toast. Especially perfect for a cold winters day lunch.
I can imagine these would be an ideal 'easy lunch' for both mums at home wanting something quick & scrumptious and also office workers who can keep a bunch of tubes in their desk drawer ready to go! And maybe for those working anywhere really? A thermos of hot water & easy peasy!
