Twitter has been offering me a lovely little selection of new people to check out daily. I normally delete it. I just can't maintain even my own inbox at the moment let alone all the social media platforms I have presence on. But today as I went through and answered my emails one by one, I decided to add a few new twitter peeps to my feed. And then one click here & there and I end up reading this post here. Fabulous, thank you for sharing. Had to spread the good news here too!
So next I liked their facebook page here & watched their video here below. Awesome. Want. Some. Now.
At first I got so excited but then angry! But only because I want one in my suburb! I want the option to have one meal out of the 21 that I need to prepare for my 7 peeps each week, where I don't have to do the cooking! Or at least one meal in 42 anyway.... And I want to know we are going to eat well and eat REAL FOOD!!!
You should check it out. And if you live somewhere within the vicinity of their 3 stores in NSW, why not pop in! Kudos to them. We need expansion, big time!
Its also got me thinking and salivating over a store I cannot wait to visit on a future trip to the USA. This place right here! Chipotle! Food with Integrity! Here's a link to their video, just one of many.
I will never forget seeing a segment about them on TV a couple of years back. I think it was Oprah. Its a healthy Mexican Grill. Mexican is MY thing. I would happily eat it every day. I would love to swim in a vat of freshly made salsa. MMMMMMMMmmmm. The stuff sold in jars that says is salsa, is just not salsa. And yes I love the Seinfeld episode where they just love saying salsa. It really is a cool word. Go on say it all Latino sexy with me, "Solllllll-SAAaaaaa!"
You don't know salsa until you have eaten the fresh kind that is served in the US with hot tortilla chips. I make my own version now of course, there's no other better option available to me here but man O man, to have a local Chipotle, well that would be just so fabulous.
So people, short of setting up a franchise myself, how do we get places like this to be in every suburb of Australia so our stretched time poor families can enjoy the occasional meal out and know they are eating as well as they would be at home, or better?
I don't know the answer to that but I sure wish I did. Huge kudos to businesses just like these.
Think I might make me a bit of this for dinner. My taste buds are going mad already!
