Yep, they sure did.
Oh my goodness what can I say about these two vivacious, spirited, hilarious, naughty, sweet, messy, fighting & loving girls?
So much...
I can't imagine life without them. The house would be SO quiet.
They are best friends and worst enemies.
They play together constantly.
They have a world they share only with each other, within our family unit. A twin thing.
They are mischievous & always getting into trouble.
They love on each other & tell secrets. They fight with each other too.
They are fabulous eaters & would happily eat all day long if I let them.
They love pre-school and have found security in being there together but play quite independently with their besties of the day.
They look out for each other.
They have totally different personalities.
Some of our family still cannot tell them apart.
They are not identical.
Amelia is shy but looks out for Chelsea & is quite protective of her.
Chelsea is a social butterfly but needs Amelias help sometimes in other areas.
They share a bedroom.
They feel a bit lost when they are apart.
They love craft, reading, skipping, riding bikes & scooters, building with Lego, eating, messing their bedroom, watching movies & TV, messing their bedroom, dancing [Gangnam Style & Guetta's Without You probably the faves of this past year], drawing, playing iPad games, jumping on the trampoline, playing totem tennis, making cubby houses, playing dress ups, messing their bedroom, helping me in the kitchen.
They can brush their own teeth, shower & dress themselves, organise shoes, pack up toys [although don't enjoy it at all], they can make pizza, make sandwiches, mess their bedroom, get their own breakfast cereal, pack their own bags for pre-school, put away their laundry in the washing basket each morning without being asked and mess up their bedroom most days.
In so many ways they have lots of growing up to do and in many other ways they are quite mature. A good 5 year old mix!
I know they will always care for each other. What a wonderful thing to have a twin.
Love you so much my crazy twinnies & I thank God every day you are both here to share your life with us & each other.
Hope you have the best time being 5 and all the exciting things that go along with that. Now go tidy your room!
