I'm undertaking a bit more study this year, alot less than last but enough to keep me practicing regularly. It'll be the last year at home with my little boy by my side full time this year, so I'm soaking that all up & keeping artists dates wherever I can fit them in. I do a block here or there, but mostly night so that my portfolio grows, I work on my style & I'm ready to put myself out into the market properly next year. Eek. I kinda like where I am just now. Maybe he is my little security blanket?
Anyway, here's a sneak of a project I finished this week for MATS Bootcamp. Its for the bolt fabric market and the subject was Jello, or as we say in Australia, 'Jelly'!
The elements were all painted in watercolour & I've assembled the repeat pattern in Photoshop.
I have also been working on fabric coordinates as well as a few other bits & pieces for this assignment but I'll share those later.
Thats all for tonight. Have a good week everyone!
